Who is eligible to participate?

Next Play is open to high school athletes pursuing a college roster spot: uncommitted seniors, underclassmen building their profile, and under-recruited prospects. If you're chasing a college opportunity, this event is built for you.

What does registration include?

Registration includes full access to all combine-style testing sessions, positional drills, coach and scout viewing days, NIL activation sessions, and professional media content production including highlight reels.

When and where is the event?

The inaugural Next Play Showcase takes place January 9–10, 2027 at Coach Kenny Deel Stadium, 3030 Milrany Ln., Melissa, TX 75454 (DFW Metroplex).

Will college coaches and scouts be in attendance?

Yes. College programs have dedicated viewing areas, with event data packages after. We also livestream the event, so your performance reaches programs that couldn't make the trip.

What should I bring or prepare?

Come ready to compete. Bring your football gear, cleats, athletic wear, and any existing performance data or film. Specific preparation guidance will be provided after registration.
